Tokenomics
We had the opportunity to make some changes in tokenomics with the network change, thinking that it would have a positive impact on the project and that the community would love it. First, we reduced the total number from 3900000 to 3750000, in other words 150000 MORA was burned. As you know, the team share was 1600000 MORA. In the new arrangement, the team share was updated to 750000 MORA and these tokens were locked for 3 months by smart contract. With this gesture, we have proven once again that we are always ready to make sacrifices for the project development and the community.
As we explained in Roadmap, our staking program will start. Tokens that we have waived as a team will be used for the staking reserve. So, we take our own team share and give it to our community! There will be 400000 MORA in the staking reserve. We will announce details about staking in a few days.
